gokudera, woot.

just getting things started...

waiting for my gokudera wig! it's off of ebay, but i've seen it on a few cosplayers, and it looks nice. it's coming from hong kong, though, so i'm guessing it's gonna take a couple weeks to get here.

i ordered a spiffy studded and skull printed belt, too. my cosplay won't be exact, but... you know, gokudera goes through so many outfits, i think it's okay to mix it up a little bit. XD

i have to find a belt to fit over my woman hips, though. THAT sucks.

I havent' gotten anything for my Tsuna costume yet. I'm such a slacker. Maybe next week. I don't know I still have to think out the specifics. I know I want to do 2 versions of him, hypermode and regular mode with the mittens. I guess I'll have to start thinking about it soon since there are ony 124 days until YaoiCon left. Lol. I totally have the days left marked on my calender.

i think you should do sweatshirt tsuna, because it matches the mittens, and he's in the outfit FOREVER.

though what i'm kinda hoping is that TYL tsuna will be revealed, and you can do THAT version. how awesome would that be? XD

oh it would be totally awesome to do TYL Tsuna. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the orange and white sweatshirt Tsuna. It'll probably be comfortable as all hell. And I really cant' wait to make the mittens. Maybe we should do 2 Reborn Cosplays. Saturday I'll do hypermode Tsuna and you can do C.A.I Gokudera and Sunday I'll do mittens Tsuna and you can do a more relaxed Gokudera. That ways we can get some mileage out of these costumes.

well, i was already planning on taking both versions of gokudera (i'm already taking him to at least two cons this year). still want to work on stein, though...

so... then... what'll we do? soul eater on friday (assuming we get them done)? i'm beginning to have doubts about that, though.

I'm down for Soul Eater on Friday. I just have to get my Tsubaki done. Geez, I gotta start working on that soon. We can do all 3 there is time.

Lol. Well my friend Sarah is coming to visit July 17th and she's pretty good at sewing and what not. So, we're planning on working on my costumes and stuff while she's here. We're cosplaying at Konan and Pein at AWA so she's going to help me make an Akatsuki Cloak of my own. I'm also hoping to get all my crap together for my outfit to wear under the cloak by then, and of course shoes.

But I told her about my Tsubaki and Tsuna costumes and she's going to help me work on thoes too. I just need to learn how to sew properly. It's been forever since I've even sat at a sewing machine.

I'm also thinking that I'll do the mittens to wear with the orange and white sweater and I kind of want to do Jumpsuit Hypermode Tsuna, and get/make a green Jumpsuit and wear the boots, I think that would be kind of bad ass.

i wish i could think of a character that kitty could do. she'd probably be willing to cosplay with us, too, even if she's not too familiar with the series, but she's like... as short as you and hella skinny. so that leaves like... basil? she'd be a hella cute lambo in a suit, though. baby lambo.
