Big boobs and flat chests

I have a question for a friend. She's very well endowed and she's getting a Kimono made for her, but because of her boobs it's not hanging right, so I thought i'd ask you ladies what you do when you're cosplaying a boy? I'm guessing that it might also work for her.

I've never cosplayed but I know some people wear compression shirts. I used to wear sports bras, preferably one that is a size too small, to get a flat look, but not sure how well that would work if she's really big chested. Some people bind w/ ace bandages but i've never tried that.

I have a friend who wears a sports bra and then binds with ace bandages. It doesn't flatten her chest completely because she's too big but it smooths her out. Akiahara has a compression shirt and when I saw her wear it it was doing a pretty good job of keeping her flat.

i don't recommend ace bandages. they're okay for cosplay, but if you're talking about a kimono that might be worn in different situations, you don't want to worry about slippage. ace bandages can move, and she'd have to go adjust herself several times while wearing it.

i have a compression shirt, and i lose something like 4-5 inches. my chest is rather large, DD-DDD, so i don't get flat, but it certainly helps, and they don't bounce around like they do in a bra (even a sports bra bounces more).

you can't wear it with an outfit that's low cut in the chest, though, because you'll see the top of the shirt. kimonos cross up pretty high on the chest, so it shouldn't be a problem... but... just a warning.
