my wig is here!!

i might trim the bangs a TINY bit, but when it's on my head, it doesn't look like it really needs it at all.

i had to take these pics, because they're friggin' awesome. i know these fucking plaster heads for my art classes would come in handy!

right now it has a funky kink near the part on the right side. i'm a little unsure about how to fix with without heat, though i'm betting that having a wig cap (i just piled my hair underneath it - all freaking two feet of it) will probably help a little with that.

haven't played with it much yet... flipped the back out a little more, but i'm running out of hairspray and that. need to get some new product. i don't think i'm gonna cut it... i think my head is big and that makes the wig look shorter than it does on a head. XD

Now I really really want to get to work on my Tsuna costume. Ok. Gotta get my wig, then I'll do the mittens and gloves because I'm DYING to do both of those. Clothes will come last. All I need now is some good reference pics for my wig.

And, I'm going out today to get some ace bandage to practice binding. Where did you get your compression shirt by the way? I'll probably bind with ace bandage and then wear a compression shirt. Tsuna is so damn skinny I just want to be as flat as possible.

the ace bandage thing probably isn't going to work well. it seems to work on smaller chested women, but every other girl i've seen with large breasts says they have problems with slippage.

i was thinking of using elastikon, which is medical tape, to like... pull them way to the sides. LOL. must cover the nipples, though.

this is my compression shirt... totally worth it, and it'll shape the rest of you, too.

Lmao. When I come visit we should totally go out to eat in our Cosplays before we leave for the con. It would be so funny.

I was thinking of wrapping my boobs then putting on the compression shirt. That way they're being held down twice as much. I bought this sports tape stuff so we'll see what happens with that. I'll probably try binding this weekend once my son is gone.

let me know how it turns out. make sure you cover your nipples with something so the adhesive on the tape isn't on them.

i was gonna try the same sort of thing... for a sort of... separation type deal, then the vest over it.

BUT! a warning! the vest is TIGHT. i mean, it's comfortable, but getting it on is a fucking pain in the ass. so you'll have to be extra special careful not to mess up the binding you've already put on when you're wiggling into the vest.

hm. okay. Well I'll keep that in mind. I figure since I have time I'm going to try and play around and find out what works best.
