| A general anime thread - for whatever anime you are currently watching, just finished watching, or plan to watch. Creating this thread because I feel a little silly making a thread for every anime I want to talk about, especially when I am probably the only person watching it. And because I am addicted to "what are you watching/what are you reading" threads. I just finished Honey & Clover Season 1. At first, I was a bit ambivalent about the series; its a nice slice of life story, but slow (it is slice of life after all). But halfway through the series, I just fell in love with it and became so involved with the characters. And I can definitely relate to Yuuta. - Spoiler:
Yuuta's journey across Japan and his return, were probably my favorite parts of the entire series.
Now I'm just waiting for the second season to come to dvd so i can finish it. Next up is Blue Drop.

| I watched the Live action version of Honey and Clover. I wonder how different it is from the anime. But it did have one of my favourite actors...Ikuta Toma, and one who became a favourite Narimya Hiroki. | |

| Right now I'm watching Avatar: The Last Airbender from the beginning. Technically it's not anime, but I just LOVE that show so much. Also watching Ouran again and Fruits Basket. I found an awesome site that has just about every anime you can imagine on there and you can watch it streaming. Was watching Inuyasha for a while, my son loves that show. Lol. | |

| Finished Honey & Clover - it was really good. I cried a couple of times and it was a bit sad to me, but overall, I enjoyed it. I saw the first half of Blue Drop and the first half of Maria Watches Over Us season 1. Both were good, although Maria Watches Over Us is a very slow paced series. I'm not going to judge it until I at least finish season 1. Blue Drop was something I just randomly picked out to watch, so I was surprised by how much I liked it. I was disappointed that I couldn't immediately finish the series. Kimya - I have been meaning to watch Avatar for over a year now. I really should start it. I think I have most of the series on my hard drive, so there's really no reason not to. Ouran and Fruits Basket are two of my favorites! I don't even know how many times I've seen Ouran. And Inuyasha was my first anime. XD Meesh- Is the live action a movie or a series? I know there's a live action movie version of Honey & Clover for rent, but I haven't seen it yet. | |

| Serenity- What's Honey and Clover about? I've heard about it before but never watched it. You should definitely watch Avatar. I really love that show.
After I finished Avatar I watched Durarara which is a funny and entertaining show. Pretty short only 12 episodes. Just started watching Tsubasa Resivoir Chroncles yesterday and getting back to watching Sailor Moon.
I swear I love this website since they literally have just about every anime I've ever wanted to watch on there. Tried watching Burst Angel but they only have it dubbed and there's no way I'm watching a dub of that show.

| So finally finished Blue Drop. Sadly, the second half of the series wasn't as good as the first. Kind of boring and predictable, although there were a few really beautiful scenes. Finally getting the second part of Code Geass from netflix. Really getting frustrated with Netflix lately. I was waiting for months for the final volume of Baccano, and now they no longer have the disc. Same thing with the first half of Romeo X Juliet and a few other series. I really wish they would replace dvds that get lost or broken. Kimya - Honey & Clover is about a group a college students at an art school. They become friends, and the show is about their years at college, their friendship, love interests, and just about their lives in general. Really good, although it can be a bit slow sometimes. I've heard a lot of good things about Avatar. I put the entire series on my desktop, so I'll actually remember to start watching it. Btw, what website are you using to watch anime? My connection is probably too slow to watch an entire series, but maybe I can watch some of the episodes I'm missing from a few series. | |

| I just caught up with bleach, and I started watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama. There was only 1 episode out, and I've read the anime. I believe it's currently airing. This spring there's a new drama based on a manga, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, that i'm looking forward to, especially since it's starring Narimiya Hiroki. | |

| Still irritated with Netflix. How hard is it to order a volume that you are missing? If you have part 2, you should have part 1. And still waiting on netflix to get the last volume of Baccano. By the time they get it, I will no longer remember anything about the series. Ugh. And thought I was watching the end of Code Geass R2, but apparently there is still another part I have to wait for. I am doomed to never remember anything that is going on in this series. I did watch Clannad season 1. Really liked it. Wanted to watch Clannad Afterstory but of course, netflix is missing the discs. Meesh - I read a few chapters of Yankee-kun to Megane-chan - I can see it making an interesting live action. | |

The live action Yankee-kun to Megane-chan is really good, I love Narimiya Hiroki and he is so adorable in it.

| Avatar is awesome. Haven't heard of the other two. I am looking for a new series. I watch anime as I go to sleep like 1 episode per night. Maybe I should DL the new FMA since I'm almost finished watching the old one. Any suggestions? | |

| Baccano! was pretty good. Violent and kind of confusing sometimes because it jumps around in time, but I am enjoying it. XD Its about immortals in the 1930s. - Quote :
- Aboard a ship in 1711, a group of alchemists summoned a “demon” that gave them an immortality elixir, but they quickly realized that they posed a threat to one another and dispersed across the world. In Depression-era New York City the immortals gradually gather together again over attempts by some to replicate the original immortality formula, in the process accidentally either directly or indirectly involving numerous other individuals, including robbers, made men, Mafia bosses, cultists, psychopaths, and the female homunculus servant of one of the original alchemists. Events come to an early head in late 1930 on board the new transcontinental train Flying Pussyfoot when the crossing paths of the robbers, psychopath, cultists, other thieves, an immortal, a senator's wife and daughter, and agents secretly escorting a special bomb create a potentially grossly bloody situation, while in 1931 and 1932 a girl seeks information on her missing ruffian brother.
I haven't finished it yet, but I like what I've seen so far. I believe its by the same people who did Durarara. Also Claymore is really good if you haven't already seen it. Turned out to be one of my favorite anime actually.

| I actually have Baccano downloaded. Just haven't watched it all. Guess I should finish it.
I started watching Claymore, but again...never got around to finishing it. Seems to be a bad habit of mine. I'll re-watch Baccano and see if I can DL Claymore.
Thanks! | |
