Con plans! \o/

you know, this is ever changing... and hopefully will have more added to the list.

i know, for sure, that i'll be attending...

august 8th - kinyoubi con - hayward, CA
august 29th/30th - sac-anime - sacramento, CA (DUR!)
oct. 30th - nov. 1st - yaoi-con - san mateo, CA

there's also a small con in stockton that's trying to get started that my artists group was going to go to as a vendor (we really need a name), but it's very, very small, and i'm not sure if it's gonna fall through or not. that's supposed to be in november, i think.


next year, depends on how well my art does and school and all that, but these are the cons i hope to attend.

sac anime in january (assuming it's happening)
april 2nd - 4th - sakura con - seattle, WA
may 14th - 16th - anime central - rosemont, IL
somewhere around may 21st - 24th (no dates yet) - fanime con - san jose, CA
july 3rd - 6th (i'm guessing) - anime expo - los angeles, CA
some time in august - sac anime again...
september/october - yaoi con, of course.


now, realistically? sac anime, acen, fanime, and yaoi con, probably. but i have an offer to go to any con that kitty (we call her kitty because her name is asian and everyone mispronounces it) from my artists group goes to, and share her table, hotel, etc., etc, which means i'd be going to half of these as a vendor, AND i'd have roomies. that's major savings right there.

i mean, yaoi con's only gonna be like 66 bucks a head for the hotel for the whole weekend. FOR THE WIN xINFINITY! well, assuming i don't have to get a bigger room - again.

Anime Central tickets and hotel are open!

I have the hotel booked from Thursday night until Monday morning.

Just letting all you peeps know

YAY ACEN!!!!! I'm so excited already. I'll probably try and get my tickets for the plane and hotel as soon as they post the dates. I had so much freaking fun last year and hopefully this year I won't be sick when I go.

i've priced out flights and everything. it depends on how much school monies i have left over... i am getting a hella expensive computer afterall, and there's still yaoi con to consider (bring as much as you can spare, kim, 'cuz i think we're gonna have flakes)... but i'd like to purchase my ticket and that waaaaaaaaay in advance...

... before nonstop flights go back up to 600 bucks.

but the spring semester ends may 19th. i'm hoping any finals will be out of the way or i can do them early or something... hopefully they'll work with me, but i won't know until i register for spring, obviously...
