Yeah, I totally know EXACTLY what you mean. I mean, its so fucked up. I was just like you at the end, like "Dude just TELL them what really happened!" But Lelouch had a plan all along. He was ridiculously self-sacrificing. Totally willing to give up EVERYTHING in order to change the world. Amazing ending. And so fucking SAD!

Yep, I was pretty much the same way, though I have to say I saw Lelouche's death coming. but not Nunally's eyesight coming back.

This is like Death Note for me though. I absolutely loved it, but I will never be able to watch it again. It just hurt too much.

I was happy Nunally finally figured out the truth before Lelouch died though. Still breaks my heart.

OH I think Winter Cicada is much worse simply because they were in love. But then again I'm bias as I love that anime so much.

oh, i love it, too... and it's been number one on my list of "most tragic anime"...

but code geass is almost worse to me, because it was supreme self sacrifice, and barely anyone knows how much lelouch gave to the world. he'll go down in history as the tyrannical emperor instead of this amazingly genius and selfless man.

Lol. I totally agree. What made Code Geass so tragic was that Lelouch gave up EVERYTHING to make the world a better place. Even his sister's love. And no on knew. He gave it all up knowing that no one would know, knowing that he would be hated and that his name would be cursed forever and it was still worth it to him. I honestly didn't think Lelouch was capable of that level of sacrifice it made it that much more tragic and heart-breaking.

I just finished season 1 and I am so in love with this show! So good! I'm pissed that i was left hanging at the end though, cause netflix does not have season 2. I'm thinking about looking on youtube for the next episodes or something b/c i've got to see what happens next.

Also, i haven't read any other posts in this thread yet b/c i'm terrified of the spoilers! lol But i will come back and read everything once i finish the entire series.

I'm still working on those disks for you, so i could definitely include season 2 if you want, or if you think you'd want to keep it i could include both seasons.

Problem is I was stupid and accidentally uninstalled by torrent software and have to wait for Roarke to get his skinny ass in gear and fix it.

I also started rewatching death note recently b/c the beginning of code geass reminded me of it. lol And its no hurry. I'm just happy to be getting anime and its really nice of you to do this for me, so I'm not going to complain.

If I had the money and time I'd burn season 1 and 2 for you since I have both on my laptop. Maybe if I can get some extra DVD-R's sometime soon I'll do it. I've been planning on getting some anyways so I can clear off my hardrive space. But I totally agree with you Serenity, the beginning of Code Geass definitely reminded me of Death Note. Definitely DON'T read the rest of the thread, complete and total spoilers.

kimya - yeah, i am totally staying away from spoilers and don't plan to read the rest of this thread until i finish all of code geass. i'm terrified i'll read something accidentally and ruin the whole thing for myself. i did that with season 6 of the lword . . . i was trying so hard not to read any spoilers, and there were major spoilers as a thread title in another forum i visit. there was no way i could avoid seeing it. i'm still looking forward to watching it, but i wish i didn't know what was going to happen.

Well good luck with that I hated season 6 of the L Word, I've never finished watching it. You'll have to let me know what you think of it.
